Pyritohedron Pyrite (Rare)
A truly exceptional and rare pyritohedron pyrite specimen, carefully hand-prepared to expose its extraordinary crystal structure. This piece was painstakingly worked to remove the surrounding rock, revealing the striking geometric perfection within.
What makes this specimen so special is its naturally occurring crystal faces — composed of a striking arrangement of hexagons and squares, a formation that is exceptionally rare in nature. No two pyritohedrons are alike, and specimens of this quality and clarity are seldom found.
Please note: this specimen has minor natural damage in the centre, where that portion of the crystal was exposed to the waves of the ocean over time. This adds to its unique character and natural story, and does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece.
