Shipping policy

NZ Pyrite ships genuine, hand-collected New Zealand minerals and handmade jewellery from Gisborne, New Zealand.

Where we ship

We ship within New Zealand and Australia as standard. International shipping is available on request — message us at info@nzpyrite.co.nz before ordering so we can confirm cost and delivery time to your country.

Processing time

Orders are packed and shipped within 1-3 business days of payment being received. Because every specimen is one-of-a-kind and hand-packed, please allow extra time during busy periods.

Shipping cost and carrier

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. We ship with NZ Post or CourierPost, whichever is cheaper for your order, and provide a tracking number for every order.

Packaging

Natural mineral specimens are fragile. Each piece is individually wrapped and padded to survive transit, but as with any natural stone, please handle your specimen gently once it arrives.

Lost or damaged in transit

If your order arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive at all, contact us at info@nzpyrite.co.nz with your order number and (for damage) photos of the item and packaging within 7 days of delivery. We’ll sort out a replacement or refund.
